This database shows the base salaries for about 150,000 workers at state of Washington agencies, colleges and universities as of the second pay period in January 2009. It does not include other forms of compensation. Data was taken from the Office of Financial Management's Personnel Detail study, which is updated every two years.

The "pay type" field shows whether an employee is paid hourly, monthly, by contract or other means. The "fulltime percentage" field represents the proportion of full-time that an employ works.
