Skull found in Kent likely not Green River-related

King County medical examiners are working to identify a human skull found in Kent, police said.
A 41-year-old man looking for a homeless camp in woods near the Rite Aid in the 26200 block of Pacific Highway South found the skull about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He notified police, who spent Wednesday searching the area for other remains. Members of the Green River Task Force assisted in the search, but the case is not thought to be connected to the Green River killings, Kent police said.
There were no obvious signs of trauma to the skull, which was missing its lower jaw and several teeth, police reported. It is thought to have been exposed to the elements for at least six months.
