Free parent education workshop set for today in Kennewick

The Children's Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia is sponsoring a series of free parent education workshops. Parents who attend five of the six sessions are eligible for a free book each month for the next five years from the Dolly Imagination Library.

Starting today, English classes will be offered at 10 a.m. at the Mid-Columbia Libraries' Keewaydin branch, 405 S. Dayton St. in Kennewick or 6 p.m. at the Children's Development Center, 1549 Georgia Ave. S.E., Richland.

Starting Thursday, Spanish classes will be offered at 1 p.m. at the Mid-Columbia Libraries' Pasco branch, 1320 W. Hopkins St., Pasco.
