Is Dicks’ debate no-show a sign of arrogance?

The two League of Women Voters debates Norm Dicks said he would attend and now has decided to ignore are not a game of hide and seek.

Is he unable to defend his votes for the invasion of Iraq, to continue funding that occupation, to grant immunity to the telecoms for spying on Americans, to give the administration even more rights to spy on citizens than it sought or to support “free trade” agreements that have cost millions of American jobs? Or is hiding from the electorate just a sign of arrogance and his perceived sense of entitlement?
