Frame helps you keep pictures fresh
Last updated: October 25th, 2008 12:46 AM (PDT)

Art curators say it is important to move pictures around every few months; otherwise, the eye will stop noticing them.

Perhaps with this in mind, a new kind of photo frame is now on the market. The 5 Second Slide & Store (starting at $10.99) allows users to easily slide their photos in and out of the frame, as well as store extras in a plastic sleeve in the back.

The matting is built in, and there is no need to remove the back. For photo enthusiasts who have struggled to mat their pictures, or had to break out the screwdriver to get the back off a frame, the Slide & Store will likely be welcome.

The frame, which comes in different styles, can be mounted to a wall or stood on a table. It even comes with a wall hanger and a nail, and the product designers say they wish they could include a hammer.

Interestingly, the Slide & Store also comes with a sticker attached to a cutout the same size as the frame. This way, the cutout can be stuck to the wall so it can be easily seen exactly how the frame will look placed on the wall. The cutout comes with a hole so a nail can be placed without removing the sticker.
