The Puyallup School District has announced recommendations for several administrative changes for the upcoming school year.

The Puyallup School District has announced recommendations for several administrative changes for the upcoming school year.

The district plans to appoint:

• Anne Hoban, current principal of Hilltop Elementary School, to principal of Stewart Elementary School.

• Cory Crawford, current principal at Pope Elementary School, to principal of Zeiger Elementary School.

• Nancy Arnold, current director of special programs, to director of assessment and accountability.

• Clara Davidson, current co-principal at Stewart Elementary School, to a half-time principal on special assignment in the diversity affairs office.

Committee formed to help find new Caldwell schools superintendent

Committee formed to help find new Caldwell schools superintendent

The Caldwell School Board Monday approved a search committee to work with education consultant Roger Reynoldson to find a new superintendent by next spring.

Each of the five board members selected two or three names from the list of about 60 potential committee members, leading to the selection of 12 people including district staff, parents and community leaders. Each will be contacted to make sure they want to participate in the committee. If one of them is unable to serve, the school board will select an alternate.

The members are: Brenda Angel, teacher at Washington Elementary School; Syringa Middle School teacher Stephanie Archuleta; district parents Russ Beardsley and Phil Bevington; businessman George Crookham; Scott Curtis, executive director of the Caldwell YMCA; Sacajawea Elementary School teacher Lyla Folkins; College of Idaho President Marv Henberg; former school board member Stephanie Mayes; Carol McCloy, former principal at Jefferson Middle School; Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas; and Canyon
