TACOMA: Highway signs bypass city

TACOMA: Highway signs bypass city

I returned from Amsterdam recently, and driving from Sea-Tac Airport on Highway 518 to Interstate 5, I noticed that the Department of Transportation has removed Tacoma from all the overhead southbound directional signs and replaced it with Portland.

How many people fly into Sea-Tac to go to Portland?

As I recall, the airport is Seattle-Tacoma, not Seattle-Portland. Maybe Tacoma and Pierce County should withhold their tax dollars until they’re treated fairly.
