WAR: Obama’s efforts to ‘clean up the mess’ fall short

Re: “Obama’s putting out fires that Bush started” (letter, 11-1).
Bush went into Iraq when he should have kept the focus on Afghanistan. But the writer says that “most of America (what poll is he quoting?) supports President Obama (the firefighter) and his efforts to clean up the mess.”
What efforts? He still is having meetings long after the generals (his generals) on the ground have called for more troops. It seems that he can’t make a decision. I just pray he doesn’t get that 3 a.m. phone call Hillary Clinton warned us about.
