STEILACOOM: Aboubakr's attackers are shameful

Once again, Steilacoom has managed to regress in its social development.

Once again, Steilacoom has managed to regress in its social development.

I have watched Steilacoom town vipers attack Connie Aboubakr during this election and am ashamed that these people live in my state. To treat an elementary school teacher in such a manner is an outrage.

For more than 25 years, Mrs. Aboubakr has helped raise thousands of children in the University Place School district and brought the joy of youthful melody to University Place city events. Does this sound like a bad person? Her husband, Karim Aboubakr, has also been an educator and soccer coach for 25 years in Tacoma.

The Town of Steilacoom is fortunate to have two upstanding citizens like the Aboubakrs, and Connie Aboubakr was one of the lights of life in the questionable democracy that is Steilacoom government. But Steilacoom doesn’t want life. You go there to die.
