ELECTION: Candidates, take down your signs

Election day has come and gone. I’m sure we’ll see the same level of excitement and energy from the supporters now to clean up their campaign signs from the road sides. And while they’re at it, I would ask they do one more bit of public service and pick up the ubiquitous non-campaign postings next to theirs (“20K a month call me...”, “I buy houses....”, etc, etc.). After all, the campaigners will be out there anyway, right?

The county has done a fine job lately ridding us of the illegal signs. I’m hoping the cleanup is a positive trend.
