A recent letter writer (11-10) favored the proposed health care bill for forcing insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions. That’s like getting fire insurance after smoke is seen.

It was also suggested that young people be allowed to stay on parents’ policies to age 27. I would remind the writer that that is about 9 years after becoming old enough to defend America as a soldier.
