Re: “Sarah Palin might become our very own Evita” (Eugene Robinson column, 11-17).
Robinson is a smart guy and a pretty good writer, which just proves that a lot of really smart people in this country will do everything within their power to ensure that President Barack Obama turns this great country into a welfare state.
Robinson says that followers of Sarah Palin will look past her shortcomings and betrayals and also that most Americans think that she is not qualified to become president.
Let’s compare:
Palin is honest.
She wouldn’t bow to foreign leaders.
She will not be soft on terrorism.
She will not have her hand in our pockets.
She will call Christmas, Christmas.
She will make America energy independent.
She will stand up to politicians regardless of party affiliation who try to deceive citizens.
She will cut taxes.
She will look for real, sustainable, cost-effective health care reform.
To this average guy it doesn’t sound like Palin will betray any American. It also seems that she is also more qualified with fewer shortcomings than our current president.
