Re: “‘We are in more trouble than we thought’” (TNT, 11-23).
Associated Press reporter Seth Borenstein has a terrible reputation as a runaway alarmist. Even global warming enthusiasts and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change are embarrassed by his over-the-top prognostications of doom and selective use of data to support his fading dream that mankind can actually control climate.
As evidence mounts showing what this climate change hysteria really is – political control of the masses – they will rev up the propaganda machine with desperate resolve. The New York Times is blaming the 2009 summer that wasn’t on “natural causes” while contending the heat wave of 2000 was caused by man. This is the kind of hard-hitting, objective reporting we can now expect.
One secret e-mail uncovered at East Anglia Climate Research Center has a leading IPCC scientist complaining of the “travesty” that they will not be able to claim that the Earth is warming for another 20 years if peer-reviewed research gets out.
You’d think these people would be relieved that the hypothesis of manmade global warming is false, that we are not destroying the planet by our way of life and that far from being a pollutant, carbon dioxide is the building block of life. The more the better. Even now there’s just enough of this trace gas to support plant life.
But that’s not possible. This global warming movement is a billion-dollar industry with far-reaching political implications. And the leftists complain about Big Oil and Big Pharma. There’s no comparison.
