TRAFFIC: Shelton could use some of those cameras, too

DONNA GREENWAY; Shelton

I read that some people are protesting traffic cameras (TNT, 4-24). Why? If you obey the traffic laws – don’t speed, don’t run red lights, don’t block intersections at red lights – then you have nothing to worry about.

It is about time they cracked down on people who ignore the rules of the road and act like they don’t apply to them.

When they get done with Tacoma and surrounding counties they can come to Shelton; they would hit the mother lode of bad drivers who run red lights, ignore speed limits and block intersections.

Maybe these traffic cameras will slow people down, make them more aware on the roads and save a life, maybe yours.
