PLU’s MediaLab film wins Emmy honor

Pacific Lutheran University’s MediaLab has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Northwest Chapter for producing one of the nation’s best long-form documentaries in the college and university division.
“Point of Entry: Migrating to North America” examines the histories of Canada and the U.S., and the differences with which immigrants are handled. For this effort, MediaLab received “Award of Excellence,” signifying runner-up status in the 2010 Emmy competition.
