The Women’s Health & Breast Center at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way has been designated as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence.
This award is sponsored by the National Consortium of Breast Centers, based in Warsaw, Ind., and recognizes services that reflect only the highest standards for timeliness, safety and clinical outcomes, the Consortium says.
The center also is designated as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers program. This is an interactive internet model that empowers breast centers to track and measure performance and provides immediate access to best-practice information so participating breast centers can compare their performance with other centers across the United States.
