Five men swept up in a 2010 crackdown on the Hilltop Crips street gang pleaded guilty to various crimes this week in Pierce County Superior Court.
A fifth had a conspiracy count filed against him dismissed.
Here’s the rundown:
• Steven Lovelace, 23, pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of second-degree assault. He’s to be sentenced Feb. 28.
• Also Monday, Aliajuan Satterwhite, 21, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree robbery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
• Andre T. Parker, 29, pleaded guilty Tuesday to third-degree assault. He received two years, 11 months in prison to be served consecutively to a 31-year sentence he received last year after being convicted of attempted murder.
• Cory T. Campbell, 23, pleaded guilty Wednesday to drive-by shooting and was sentenced to four years, two months.
• Brandon Starks, 21, pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery. Terms of his sentence weren’t immediately available.
• Also Wednesday, prosecutors dismissed the sole conspiracy count filed against Bryant D. Morgan, 27, as part of the crackdown. Morgan previously was convicted of attempted murder as a co-defendant to Parker. He was sentenced to 29 years in that case.
In all, prosecutors won convictions against 34 of the 36 people charged a year ago in the crackdown, which targeted Tacoma’s oldest street gang. Two men had charges against them dismissed.
Several defendants are to be sentenced later this month.
