Sex offender registrations
The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Pierce County.
Each is categorized as a Level 3 sex offender – those considered most likely to commit similar crimes. None is wanted by law enforcement officers at this time.
All convicted sex offenders registered to live in Tacoma and Pierce County are listed on the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s website at www.piercesheriff.org.
Michael K. Sharp
Age: 32
Description: 5 feet 7 and 160 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
Where registered to live: 13000 block of Glenwood Avenue Southwest in Lakewood.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2000 of two counts of third-degree child rape in Pierce County after he had sexual contact with one teenage girl and sexually assaulted another.
Sex offender treatment: Unsuccessfully participated in the treatment program.
Other information: Convicted in 1998 of attempted third-degree rape in Pierce County after he tried to sexually assault a teenage girl in his car.

Michael A. Wilkinson
Age: 30
Description: 6 feet 4 and 280 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.
Where registered to live: 2700 block of South Alaska Street in Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2004 of three counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes in Kitsap County after he sexually assaulted two teenage boys.
Sex offender treatment: No documentation in his file to indicate whether he participated in the treatment program.

Samuel Lewis
Age: 32
Description: 5 feet 11 and 230 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Where registered to live: 1300 block of East 63rd Street in Tacoma.
Criminal history: Convicted in 2001 of second-degree rape in Spokane County after he sexually assaulted a young woman he didn’t know.
Sex offender treatment: Participated in the treatment program.
