Franciscan Medical Group of Tacoma has added to its staff:
Dr. Thomas Poulton will provide urological care for patients of all ages at Franciscan Urology Associates in Lakewood. He earned his medical degree at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., and completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center.
Dr. Louis Lim is a board-certified internal medicine physician providing care for adults, and has special interest and training in occupational medicine. Lim also will serve as medical director of quality for Franciscan Medical Group. He earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in Mississippi, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of South Dakota and completed a fellowship in occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Cascade Eye & Skin Centers has also hired a physician. Dr. Michael Nelson has joined the group in University Place and Gig Harbor. He specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care.
Nelson received a bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota and his medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. His research fellowship and dermatology residency were completed at Washington University in St. Louis. Board-certified in dermatology, Nelson is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
