Tacoma’s MultiCare Health System and its four hospitals have been named among the nation’s “Most Wired” health organizations by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine.
MultiCare is owner of Tacoma General Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, Allenmore Hospital and Puyallup’s Good Samaritan Hospital and dozens of clinics and other health facilities in Pierce and King counties.
The MultiCare organization is linked by a computer network called MultiCare Connect.
The “Most Wired” designation was awarded to 154 hospitals and health systems nationwide among 530 hospitals and health systems surveyed. Madigan Army Medical Center was the only other Pierce County hospital to win the distinction.
