The warm weather and the hot run of pink salmon in the Puyallup River made for a beautiful, albeit crowded, day of fishing Sunday.

Fishermen in waders shared the waters with youngsters wading and sunbathers lounging on chairs.

The weather – if not the fishing – is expected to cool significantly Monday, and showers are possible.
