The Bethel School Board will hold two public hearings as part of its meeting Tuesday at the Educational Services Center, 516 176th St. E., Spanaway. The hearings begin at 7 p.m.
One hearing is on a proposed amendment to alter language in a 2006 bond resolution. This amendment is needed to match the language in the resolution with the anticipated, actual use of bond proceeds.
The board will also conduct a public hearing on the need to draw new boundaries for its board member districts. The new boundary lines are needed to rebalance population in each of the board’s five districts in light of recent census counts.
For more information about either hearing, call 253-683-6080.
