A child custody hearing involving the sons of missing mother Susan Cox Powell wont be decided until Wednesday. Superior Court Judge Kathryn Nelson requested an additional day to review materials provided by Chuck Cox, Susans father, and Josh Powell, Susans husband, before determining where the couples two sons will reside.
The boys have been in state custody since last week when Josh Powells father, Steven Powell, was charged with multiple counts of voyeurism and possession of illegal pornography.
Susan Powell has been missing since December 2009. Her parents suspect that Josh Powell was involved in Susan's disappearance, but Josh Powell has denied any knowledge.
Tuesday, a state assistant attorney general said that Josh Powell was a subject in the continuing investigation related to Steven Powell. The men and the two boys lived in the same Puyallup house.
Pierce County sheriffs spokesman Ed Troyer said that everyone who lives in Steve Powells house is a person of interest in their investigation of the inappropriate photographs of girls and women found in Steve Powells bedroom. Prosecutors last week charged Steve Powell with 14 counts of voyeurism and one count of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit activity.
"We have not eliminated anybody, and we are not at the point of arresting anybody else, Troyer said.
