The parents and husband of missing Utah mother Susan Cox Powell have returned to a Pierce County courtroom this morning as part of the ongoing custody battle over her two young sons.

Both sides spent Tuesday in front of Pierce County Judge Kathryn Nelson, arguing who should have custody of the 4- and 6-year-old boys. Read coverage of those arguments here.

Nelson's decision has been delayed this morning because of a request from KIRO TV to live broadcast the proceedings. Before court began, Nelson called representatives from the station into her chambers to discuss the issue.

After the meeting, Nelson returned to the bench and said the stations had withdrawn their request to live stream the proceeding. However, she said she was thinking of invoking a law that restricts dissemination of video recordings of these types of proceedings.
