The New York Giants terminated the contract of veteran wide receiver Brandon Stokley on Tuesday.
Stokley signed with the Giants on September 15. He caught one pass for seven yards against Philadelphia on September 25. A quad injury forced Stokley to miss last Sunday's game in Arizona.
The Louisiana-Lafayette product played in 11 games for the Seattle Seahawks last season.
New York also signed offensive lineman Jim Cordle and cornerback Justin Tryon; terminated the contract of quarterback Sage Rosenfels; and signed offensive lineman Selvish Capers to the practice squad.
Tryon played the first three games of this season with the Colts. He was released on September 28.
In 44 career games with the Redskins and Colts, Tryon has 82 tackles, one sack and one interception.
