Pierce County deputies searching for convicted sex offender

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating a convicted sex offender who hasn't checked in with law enforcement in more than a year.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating a convicted sex offender who hasn't checked in with law enforcement in more than a year.

Andre T. Taylor, 37, was convicted of second-degree rape and deemed a Level 2 sex offender. He's been convicted three times of failing to register as a sex offender and hasn't checked in with law enforcement since July 2010.

Kenneth Christopher Martinez, 31, has told Yakima sheriff's deputies he is living in the 200 block of Ash Street in Grandview.

Martinez is 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his upper right arm, upper left arm, left forearm and left hand.
