Chase opened a home ownership center in Lakewood this week to help service members and veterans avoid foreclosure. It’s one of six such centers the bank aims to open around the country this year near major military installations.
Chase aims to help people keep their homes by putting them in front of a person who can answer their questions and cut through red tape. Spokeswoman Darcy Donahoe-Wilmot said the Lakewood center will be open to all residents, but it will be staffed with employees who have military experience.
“They understand firsthand the needs of military personnel,” said Phyllis Campbell, JPMorgan Chase Chairman of the Pacific Northwest.
The bank’s new center is located at 6020 Main Street, Suite C in Lakewood. It is open six days a week and can be reached at 253-582-2340.
