Cascade Christian girls soccer coach Lisa Peterson notched her 250th career victory as the Cougars clipped Charles Wright Academy, 3-2. Peterson won the bulk of her games at Seattle Christian, where she guided the Warriors to seven consecutive state titles.
Bellarmine Prep shut out Narrows League-leading Gig Harbor, 4-0, getting a pair of goals from Dani Nurmi.
Kimmie Stueckle scored two goals in Emerald Ridge’s 4-1 win at Graham-Kapowsin.
Kentwood’s Mykala Benjamin scored two goals in the first five minutes at Mount Rainier, leading the Conquerors to a 4-1 victory.
Jessica Snoen recorded the shutout as Enumclaw topped Decatur, 2-0.
Puyallup’s Maddie Davis smashed 14 kills, leading the Vikings past Emerald Ridge, 3-0.
Heather Hernandez blasted 14 kills and served three aces to lead Graham-Kapowsin past Curtis, 3-0.
Kentridge’s Jordan Denny had 26 assists and four aces in the Chargers’ 3-0 win over Jefferson.
Kelsey Fausko tallied 13 kills and two blocks in Auburn Mountainview’s 3-0 win at Bonney Lake.
Julia Stohr scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute, lifting Capital to a 2-1 win over Wilson in a battle of the 3A Narrows League’s top two teams.
Timberline got goals from Krista Jones, Hailey Ziegler and Libby Kamrowski for a 4-2 win over Lincoln to remain in third place in the 3A Narrows standings.
W.F. West’s Brady Calkins shot a final-round 2-under-par 70 for a two-day total of 2-under 142 to win medalist honors at the Class 2A District IV boys golf tournament at The Home Course in DuPont. Hockinson edged W.F. West for the team title, 133-132. The top 17 individuals advance to the state tournament in May.
