New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram will miss Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams with a heel injury.
Ingram left Sunday's game against the Colts after landing awkwardly on his right heel after an 11-yard run.
The 21-year-old rookie had 91 yards on 14 carries against Indianapolis before exiting. He has run for 329 yards and three touchdowns in seven games played this season.
In addition, New Orleans put running back Christopher Ivory on the active roster. Ivory had been on the physically unable to perform list, but returned to practice this week. Ivory ran for 716 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games played with the Saints last season.
