Enjoying holiday displays and taking in a movie among things to do today

 • It may be Thanksgiving but you might want to get in the holiday mood by checking out a display of custom-decorated trees and wreaths, as well as local entertainment at the Providence St. Peter Foundation’s 24th annual Christmas Forest. It’s 11 a.m.-5 p.m. today through Sunday and Nov. 30 at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia, 2300 Evergreen Park Drive S.W., Olympia. Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for children younger than 12.

 • Maybe you’d like to take a break from the cooking and feasting for a night at the movies. Here’s a few of the big movie titles playing now:

“Hugo,” “Happy Feet Two,” “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” “Athur Christmas” and “The Muppets.” Check the local movie times on this page.
