The Tacoma Mountaineers will hold an information night Dec. 14 about courses it will be offering in the coming months.
This is a chance to learn about programs involving snowshoeing, mountain climbing, alpine scrambling, telemark and cross-country skiing.
From 6:30-8 p.m., Mountaineer activity leaders will talk about these upcoming classes. They will discuss what you’ll need, what you’ll learn, where you’ll go, what it’ll cost and more.
The event will be held at Anna Wheelock Library, 3722 N. 26th St., Tacoma. For more information contact membership chairman Jim Harvey at jim5car@yahoo.com.
