The Cincinnati Bengals placed right guard Bobbie Williams on injured reserve Monday.
Williams broke his right ankle during Sunday's 20-19 loss to Houston.
The Bengals' starting right guard since 2004, Williams had started all 16 games in each of the previous four seasons. He was suspended for the first four games this season for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Cincinnati promoted guard Otis Hudson from the practice squad.
