When it comes to Christmas lighting displays, enough is not enough for Randy and Jennifer Tribbett of Orting.
The Tribbetts had to add extra circuit breakers to their electrical panel to handle the thousands of lights they install outside their home at 1601 Riddell Ave. N.E.
“We even have Santa in a hot-air balloon on our roof,” Jennifer Tribbett said in an email to The News Tribune. “We draw quite the crowd of looky-loos checking it out.”
The Tribbetts, who are collecting donations this year for the Orting Food Bank, are not the only South Sound residents to go all out for the holiday.
Check out The News Tribune’s interactive map of homespun displays (and add your favorites).
You'll find a list of dozens of homes with spectacular decorations, view reader-submitted photos of the displays and print a list of addresses should you decide to become a looky-loo.
People who think they’ve got what it takes to compete with the likes of the Tribbetts also can add their own houses to the list.
You might want to consult with an electrician beforehand.
