Ada County Paramedics to play Santa for hospitalized children on Christmas Eve

For the fourth year in a row, Ada County Paramedics will ditch their stethoscopes and don Santa hats to deliver toys and books to sick children in local hospitals.

The group is partnering this year with the Girl Scouts on the project. The scouts have been collecting toys, and a few will help make deliveries.

The inspiration for the gift delivery is the fact that many hospitalized children have only interacted with paramedics in unhappy, emergency situations. This is the chance for everyone to meet under better circumstances.
