Crystal Mountain Resort is offering discounts in January to encourage new skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes as part of a nationwide initiative with the National Ski Areas Association.
The First Time Lesson package will be $79, regularly $89, and includes a five-hour group lesson, Discovery lift ticket and equipment rental.
Learn to Ski 1-2-3 package will be $175, regularly $185. It includes three days of skiing or snowboarding instruction, lift tickets and rentals. The first day includes a five-hour group lesson, Discovery lift ticket and equipment rental. Days two and three are 21/2-hour afternoon lessons, all-mountain lift tickets and equipment rentals.
These special rates are valid any day in January for both skiers and snowboarders.
