The Sumner School District has scheduled Ready for Kindergarten classes that provide information to parents about what a typical 5-year-old knows, or should know, by the first day of school.
The free 90-minute classes, all starting at 6:30 p.m., will be held Thursday at Sumner Middle School, 1508 Willow St.; Jan. 24 at Emerald Hills Elementary School, 19515 W. Tapps, Bonney Lake; and Jan. 31 at Liberty Ridge Elementary, 12202 209th Ave. Ct. E., Bonney Lake.
First-time attendees must sit in on a 30-minute orientation class at 6 p.m. Parents and caregivers of children prenatal to five years old may register for classes at www.readyforkindergarten.org/sumner.
