Gig Harbor freshman helps Forest Service, earns Eagle Scout

Deno Borghi, a Fox Island resident and freshman at Gig Harbor High School, has earned an Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America.

Deno Borghi, a Fox Island resident and freshman at Gig Harbor High School, has earned an Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America.

As his community service project, Borghi assisted the National Forest Service by building and installing a sign at Corral Pass. He also served as a legislative page for Rep. Larry Seaquist in the last legislative session.
