Lincoln High alum Jon Kitna returned to his alma mater on Monday, starting a part-time teaching position. Could the 15-year NFL quarterback fill the Abes’ head football coach vacancy, too?

Former Seahawks quarterback Jon Kitna threw just 10 passes this season as Tony Romo’s backup for the Dallas Cowboys. Kitna was placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday because of a back injury, ending his season and possibly his 15-year NFL career.
