Windermere Professional Partners DuPont has added Tom Caniglia, Realtor, to its staff. He has experience in business operations and has been a Realtor for seven years.
BANKING/FINANCE
Rob Lewis has been promoted to branch manager for Columbia Bank, Meridian branch in Puyallup. He will oversee staff while being responsible for overall profitability, directing sales and business development of the branch. Lewis has eight years banking experience, all with Columbia Bank.
HIGHER EDUCATION
Andy Bird, dean for technology, transportation, and science/engineering, has been named aerospace liaison for Clover Park Technical College. He will be responsible for directing the more than $2.2 million in federal and state aerospace grants recently awarded to the college. Bird also will manage the development of new grant opportunities as well as new degree and certificate programs. He has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in education, both from Western Washington University.
AWARDS/RECOGNITION
Bob Danielle, dean of academic affairs, Seattle Metro for DeVry University in Federal Way, has received the 2011 Pride Award which recognizes the “Best of the Best” individuals who exemplify excellence at DeVry University.
Dr. Mark Nelson, retina surgeon with Sound Retina of Tacoma, has been initiated as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Nelson met the college’s membership requirements, demonstrating ethical fitness and professional proficiency.
