Small temblor felt in Willow but no damage is reported

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said in a release that the temblor was recorded just after 8 a.m. Friday northwest of Willow in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

MAT-SU -- A small earthquake was felt in Willow Friday.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said in a release that the temblor was recorded just after 8 a.m. It had a preliminary magnitude of 3.0, centered about 8 miles northwest of Willow at a depth of 2 miles.

There have been no immediate reports of damage.
