Tacoma police investigating house fire as possible arson

Tacoma police and firefighters are investigating an overnight house fire as a possible arson.

Officers and firefighters responded to the house in the 1000 block of South 86th Street just before 1:50 a.m., Tacoma police reported.

All the occupants had escaped the burning house without injuries by the time first responders arrived.

Tacoma firefighters went to a second-alarm to bring in more resources to fight the flames.

The house was destroyed, police reported.

The departments were investigating.
