Services for Neil Isaac Turner, who was killed in Afghanistan Jan. 11, are planned Monday in Tacoma and Kent.
Turner, 21, was a 2008 graduate of Lincoln high School and joined the Army in summer 2010.
A “homegoing celebration” is set for 11 a.m. at Champion Centre, 1819 E. 72nd St., Tacoma, followed by a procession to Mount Tahoma National Cemetery at 18600 S.E. 240th St. in Kent. There, the Army will honor Turner.
