Richland middle school students win statewide math competition

Carmichael Middle School's seventh-grade math team won first place at the Washington State Math Masters competition.

Team members are Libby Allen, Alex Fang, Viknesh Kasthuri and Abum Okemgbo.

The Richland students competed against 11 other teams and won first place in division one.
