  Visitors that day to the nine libraries and the bookmobile in the Whatcom County Library System will be invited to write about why the library is important to them and pose for a photo. The library system will report statistics from that day, including numbers of visitors and items checked out.

  Officials in the Whatcom County Library System are working on a plan for 2013-15 and seek community input. A survey will be available through Sunday, May 6, on the Whatcom County Library System's website, wcls.org.

  People who don't use the library are especially encouraged to participate.
