With its grand opening coming up in June, the LeMay-America’s Car Museum announced two top personnel appointments Wednesday.
Paul Miller, who has been the museum’s acting operations chief and oversaw construction of the 165,000-square-foot building next to the Tacoma Dome, was named chief operating officer. He is a former Tacoma city councilman and deputy mayor.
Miller has been managing general partner of Miller Investment Partnership since 1979 and owns Paul E. Miller Brokerage.
Miller “literally knows the landscape better than anyone, and knows the players without needing a scorecard,” said David Madeira, the museum’s president and CEO. “He understands the impact this museum will have – not only from his perspective as a board member, but also as a lifelong member of this community.”
LeAna Reising of Enumclaw, formerly the outside sales director for Pacific Grill Events and Catering, was named sales manager for the museum.
