Anthony Hemstad, president and CEO of the World Trade Center Tacoma, reported Thursday that the center has added three members to its board of directors. They are:
• Jeff Jagosh, an industrial brokerage specialist for CBRE. Jagosh specializes in site selection of logistics and warehouse companies in the Port of Tacoma service area, as well as in Thurston and Lewis counties.
• Dale King, Tacoma Rail superintendent since 2008. King previously served as Weyerhaeuser’s director of rail services, and has also worked for Burlington Northern Railroad. As the head of Tacoma Rail, he oversees one of the country’s largest short-line railroads.
• Evette Mason, the Port of Tacoma’s government affairs manager. In 22 years at the port, Mason has worked with international delegations, assisted with trade publications and supported local economic development initiatives. As government affairs manager, she works with staff members and elected officials of Pierce County’s municipal agencies.
The World Trade Center Tacoma is a membership-based organization that works on building trade and investment. It is part of the 330-city World Trade Center Association and was recognized last year as being one of the fastest growing WTCs in the world, having more than quadrupled its membership in just over two years.
