A 53-year-old Lacey woman was killed and four Shelton residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:09 p.m. Friday at 6225 Hawks Prairie Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Also according to the patrol:
Tammy Worthington was eastbound in a 2005 Mercury Mariner and crossed the center line, striking a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Adam Rodriguez, 26. Worthington was pronounced dead at the scene; Rodriguez was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia with unspecified injuries. His three passengers were unhurt.
The occupants of the Tahoe were wearing seat belts; Worthington was not. No charges are expected to be filed.
