The Sumner School District Early Learning Department will host Block Fest in conjunction with the District Science Fair and Art Show.

The Sumner School District Early Learning Department will host Block Fest in conjunction with the District Science Fair and Art Show.

The program, for children 8 months to 8 years, teaches math and science through block play. The event is free and open to the public; all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Scheduled dates are: Feb. 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Sumner Library, 116 Fryar Ave., and Feb. 22, 6-8 p.m., at Emerald Hills Elementary, 19515 S. Tapps Drive. E., Bonney Lake.
