Davis moves into CBBN 4A district championship

David Trimble and Davonte Lucket combined for 36 points to lead top-ranked Davis to a 66-43 win over Walla Walla in the Class 4A District 5/6 semifinal Saturday in Yakima.

The Pirates grabbed a 23-9 first-quarter lead and increased it to 39-22 at the half.

Tanner Cranor scored 12 points to lead the Blue Devils. .

WALLA WALLA -- Eggers 2, Locati 5, Peasley 7, Tanner Cranor 12, Ferenz 4, Handcox, Jameson 6, Porter, Lesmeister 7, Rowley, Parnicky. Totals 18-49 6-8 43.

DAVIS -- Kupp 7, Navarro, Luckett 17, David Trimble 19, Allen 9, Lizotte 3, Perea-Vijarro 8, Wright, Jones, Gasseling 3, Knox. Totals 27-54 9-13 66.

Walla Walla 9 13 12 9 -- 43

Davis 23 16 15 14 -- 66
