Minnesota used a 20-0 run to take a 40-24 lead with 17 minutes to go.
Rachel Banham led the Gophers with 21 points.
Guard Lindsey Moore, a Kentwood High graduate, added 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals for Nebraska.
